Sessions are 2 hours long – just covering the essentials.
Groups will be small & the course is held entirely outdoors.

Directions
This course is open to those who have recently purchased a rifle, pistol, or shotgun, or are planning to purchase one in the near future. We will cover basic function, safety, and ownership, followed by a live-fire range session.
Your own gun is recommended for this course; however, loaner upgrade packages are available if you do not already own a firearm.
If a loaner is needed, please indicate upon registration, and you will be invoiced prior to the course
(Loaner Firearm & 2 Boxes of Ammunition – $30)
* If borrowing a gun, you must use our ammunition. *
** If you are bringing your own gun, you must also supply your own ammunition for use during the course. **
Couples (or groups) may share one firearm and/or fire each others.
This course is a great standalone session or the perfect primer to the NRA Rifle, Pistol and/or Shotgun courses (listed under the class dates menu)
Sessions will be very small with a low student-to-instructor ratio.

The entire $145 payment is paid online.
Payment is non-refundable, unless the course is canceled (unlikely). Due to high volume, please be sure of your schedule before signing up.
Requirements and Restrictions:
- If bringing your own firearm, we suggest bringing 20-100 rounds of ammunition.
- If bringing your own shotgun, bring # 6, # 7, # 7.5 or # 8 Birdshot ammo (NO SLUGS, NO BUCKSHOT, NO STEEL-SHOT)
- Your own eye and ear protection is recommended
- Bottle of water
- Courses only open to U.S. Citizens or Non-U.S. citizens who are: (1) lawful permanent residents (e.g., green card holders), (2) refugees, or (3) individuals who have been granted asylum. Visa holders (Work, Travel, Ect.) are not eligible for any courses involving firearms.
