Keith Chambery - Instructor

Keith Chambery grew up on Long Island at a time when "The Western" was king of television and movies.

The lure of the cowboy's six gun got a hold of him in the 1960's, when at age 13, his uncle put a Ruger "Single Six" in his hands and taught him to hit cans at 15 yards.  From that day on he was hooked and knew that developing his skills as a shooter would be a very satisfying part of his life.

Balancing a family, wife and a rewarding career as a group insurance professional, Keith finds time still to hit the range and restore vintage rifles.  Each of these achievements have brought success, joy and at times, significant stress.  He has found collecting and shooting firearms along with reloading to be the perfect "legitimate" de-stressor for him.  In addition, preparing for matches gives him extra motivation to walk, exercise and attempt to fight the simple ravages of experience!

In the future Keith plans on expanding his gunsmithing skills so as to help other shooters custom fit their firearms.

Keith's father fought and was wounded in Europe during WWII. His mother is a British immigrant who survived hometown bombings during the battle of Britain.  He has a profound respect for Veterans and for the value of the 2nd Amendment.  He is honored to be a part of a team dedicated to helping other Americans learn how to handle firearms with the proper skills, knowledge and attitude worthy of our founding fathers' dreams.
